DESCRIPTION:On May 26, 2025, enjoy a beautiful morning in one of the most stunning protected landscapes in the Northern Piedmont region. We will begin at Kinross Farm with brief remarks about our critical conservation mission and the storied history of the infamous “Segregation Lane”, the dividing line between the hunt territory of the Piedmont Fox Hounds and Orange County Hounds.\nParticipants will then depart at their own comfortable pace along a specific course down Segregation Lane and through Kinross and Smitten Farms, two of the most prestigious private racing estates in Virginia. These properties are celebrated leaders in the conservation field, being entirely preserved through conservation easements and governed by the latest best management practices.\nParticipants should be prepared to traverse rugged uneven terrain, including very steep hills and water crossings.
