On April 27, PFHCF and the Virginia Piedmont Heritage Area Association (VPHA) invite you on an historic trail ride through the Unison Battlefield landscape and surrounding Piedmont territory. We will learn about key troop movements during the battle, historic buildings along the Quaker Lane corridor, and the incredible community effort behind the preservation of this important part of our countryside.
Limited to 50 riders, we will depart at 10 AM for a two-hour ride that will include several short stops for historic interpretation. A tailgate lunch will be provided at the ride’s conclusion and there will be a Champagne toast to celebrate the landmark success in protecting this critical area for future generations!
The trail ride is free, but registration is required. Please click here for more information. Location and parking details will be emailed to registered participants.
