2023 began with difficult news as we bid farewell to one of the longstanding leaders of our community, James (“Jimmy”) C. Wofford. Jimmy was not only an Olympic rider, internationally renowned coach, and devotee of the Piedmont Fox Hounds, but also one of the first supporters of PFHCF. He had designed a jumping clinic to be our first fundraiser just before his health declined and although it never came to fruition, his wife and former PFH Master, Gail, encouraged donations to our organization in his honor. This incredible act of generosity brought in over $10,000 and we could not be more thankful to Gail and the entire Wofford family.
