We are spearheading the production of a “Rural Landowner Manual” to serve as a proactive tool in the battle to preserve our countryside and culture, as well as unite new and existing landowners in supporting our rural way of life. The manual will include a list of resources to assist landowners with a wide range of best management practices and economic pursuits that protect the environment, native species, and vistas that make up our landscape. This project is in equal partnership with the following other sponsors: Al Van Hyuck, Citizens for Fauquier County, Goose Creek Association, Land Trust of Virginia, OCH Conservation Fund, Piedmont Environmental Council, and the Virginia Piedmont Heritage Area Association.
